Conclusions on validity of protests, requests for redress, and requests to reopen.

Valid Protest – Technical Committee Inspection Preceded (60.4(c)(3))

Wording

Although the protest is based on information from [a request for redress] [an invalid protest] [a report from a person with a conflict of interest (other than a representative of the boat herself)], the technical committee has first conducted an inspection and decided [a boat][personal equipment] does not comply with [the class rules][rule 50]. Therefore the protest is valid under RRS 60.4(c)(3).

Applicable scenarios

  • Protest valid because technical committee inspected first
